The purpose of our Family Association
The purpose of creating a Family Association is based on a substantial genealogical realization: that all people on our planet, which now bear
the family name Ohlebusch, Ohlenbusch, Ohldebusch, Oldenbush and Olenbush have descended from a single couple, from our first parents, Harm and Hille Oldebusch.
We descendents are therefore by nature a hereditary group.
The formation of this Family Association should awake and encourage the awareness of belonging. Among other things this is to be achieved by:
- Getting to know the other members.
- Strengthening of contacts also with members from outside Europe.
- Promoting family history research.
- Information from family letters.
- Implementation of international family reunions.
- Occasional joint visits of our family farm in Bookholzberg.
